Default panchiko

what do you guys think of panchiko?

their record d>e>a>t>h>m>e>t>a>l is a 10 out of ten record for me and one of the first music i felt connected to, at first i avoided listening to it because i thought the fans were annoying… but it was genuinely so good, and the backstory intrigued me.

my favorite song is cut.

I hadn't heard much from this band before but I looked into this album and wow, the backstory is incredible. The fact that someone just randomly found it in like a thrift store and then uploaded it online and even though it had disc rot people still loved it, actually found the band on facebook, and reached out to them.

The album sounds really great and I initially thought it was way more recent than 2000. It's cool that the "R>O>T" versions of the songs are also available so we can hear how those initial fans first heard the album.

it definitely sounds ahead of its time. i really love this album it’s like a mix of electronica and radiohead at times and i love it. really makes me wonder how many more bands would be big that just went unseen.

I for sure hear the Radiohead sound, idk why it also reminded me of flaming lips a little bit. Especially Laputa. Yeah exactly there are so many great bands out there.
