Default Lene Lovich

It's been a horrible day for me but this helped brighten things up a bit:

Yes, she's opening some dates for the Devo/B-52s never ending farewell tour but also has a number of solo shows, including one in my town, which I'll try my best to attend.

One of my favorite one-hit wonders of all time for sure.

In what way was your day horrible if you don't mind my asking?

Lene is good for more than just one song. And although she had no real radio “hits” in the US, my local community radio (on which I’ve done a lot of DJing) used to play a lot of her stuff. I never got to see her live back in the day, so I’m going to try my best to see her this time around.

As far as how my horrible day went, it’s now in the past and that’s where it will stay.

Gotta admit I only remember her for "Lucky Number" which certainly was her lucky number.

Hadn't thought about her in decades until I saw this thread. A triple bill with her and Devo and the B-52's looks like a good combo.

I need to listen to Stateless (great name for an album)

These days I ask everyone about their days because then they ask me about mine and then I can tell them all about how admirably stoical I'm being about the bombardment by the ayatollahs, how even Israelis who've seen things say that this Canadian guy is super brave faced the worse attacks Israel's home front has ever seen. More and more Israelis are saying "Jadis is so brave it's incredible, have you seen this guy?"
