as far as the band's solo projects go, i like The Elected better than Jenny Lewis by herself.

Which old sound are you referring to? All I have ever listened to is Under the Blacklight(s?). I actually downloaded it. I heard 'Silverlining' recently and it made me cringe.

Now, I will admit I haven't really heard anything else. I've heard some Jenny Lewis solo stuff but I was repulsed by memories of the album I had, I couldn't listen to it.

I was actually surprised to see a Rilo Kiley thread, still active.

What's your gripe about her solo stuff? Acid Tongue is one of my all time favorite albums.

I honestly do not have a gripe with the solo stuff. I haven't listened to it.

I heard whatever song my husband played for me, and instantly the annoying "silverlining" popped in my head and I had a violent reaction to it.

I am checking out Acid Tongue right now. Any suggestions?
