It's been two months, and I still really like the new album. What are everyone's thoughts after a few months? "She Found Now" and "Who Sees You" are definite favorites.

I'm not sure, I think the album has grown on me a bit but I'm still a bit disappointed in a way. Still pretty top notch though.

I've been listening to it approximately weekly. That may decrease but there's no diminishing returns as far as I'm concerned. To me, it's just the 3rd studio MBV LP - and I'll probably love it forever like I do the other two.

Yeah it definitely holds up well to repeated listens. The album isn't as good as Loveless and they were never going to top Loveless. But what they did produce was a worthy follow-up to Loveless and I might even like it as much as Isn't Anything at the moment.

Favourite songs are 'She Found Now', 'New You' and 'Wonder 2'. 'She Found Now' is a brilliantly bittersweet introduction to the album and made me breath with a sigh of relief when it first hit my ears. 'New You' is probably the most accessible song on the album but Bilinda's dreamy and infectious vocals makes my heart melt. 'Wonder 2' is like nothing I've heard before. It's like listening to an MBV song while strapped to the roof of a plane that's performing loops and nose-dives and shit. Disorientating but in the best way possible.

I just ran across this..

Their performance isn't very different from when I saw them in 2009, which isn't strange I guess. There's also a short performance by Lush tacked on to the end of this video.

That's because this thread is about MBV. This other one is about Swirlies:
