em...i downloaded the dears and i don't really see any resemblance to interpol, they kinda sucky suck.....

I don't think there's any resemblence to interpol either myself... The dears are hit or miss, songs like 'end of a hollywood bedtime story', 'lost in the plot' and 'where the world beings & ends' are the best off the new album...
