TNV are not a noise band. It just so happens that their sound is very noise
y. This is due to an extremely, comically lo-fi recording "aesthetic", if you can call it that (it's actually just turning up all the wrong dials). Underneath all the torturous noise is simply an indie pop band making bog standard indie pop music.
If anything, I'd accept describing the sound as "Deathfuzz".
