Unique, but I've heard 'this type voice' before...just can't put my finger on it.

Album cover art.

I so dig what you mean, it's like it's on some special "I will crawl inside your head and make you go insane" frequency. Unexplicably pleasurable. And the choruses with the backing vocals ain't helping much either. And doesn't Sea legs flow so incredibly? It's been playing in a continuous loop in my head for the past few days....no matter what I'm doing, it's in the background....if I ever lose it, I'm blaming The shins!

Agreed swim, the best album cover art they've had by far. I'm so getting this album when it finally comes out. I can already safely say it's one of the best in 2007.

I just downloaded kissing the lipless....urf...
The guys vocals just eviscerated my ears. The guitar is kinda simplistic... Same with lyrics.

Maybe it's just this song but... Ugh, not very good in my opinion. Definetely not indie, more alternative. So i guess it belongs here, but i don't think this is Indie. Or experimental.

my 2 cents

Aaa 'So Says I', 'Kissing The Lipless' and 'Saint Simon' somehow magically appeared on my windows media player recently. I'll never know how, but I'm thankful as the Shins were a great discovery :] Might go out and buy 'Chutes too Narrow' soon xx
