local band from san diego "the strangers six". i dont really know what to classify them as, pop punk, indie, rock, alternative, psychobillyprogpostmetalcorepunk. whatever. they are easily one of the most popular bands in san diegos local scene. theyve just finally started getting bigger, but so far...no record deal. they have however, (not all of the members...but a couple of them) developed an attitude towards their fans that they never had before. it seems theyve kinda forgotten who their real fans are. its disappointing... but either way, theyre still a decent band. my friends and i have hung out with them a few times, the drummers a cool guy.

a lot of their older stuff is better. one of my friends has THE VERY FIRST CD they ever made. as in.....not the first release....but literally the cd itself.

they're not bad, but not very good either, then again, american college rock makes me hurl.....which makes me wonder why they haven't been signed yet, the peach pit kids would gobble this shit down like crazy....

i think aaron (their singer....who happens to be a complete ass) runs everything for that band and hes just basking in the underground glory as long as he can before having to actually do work.
