Default U.S. Maple

Great band, Talker is one of my favourite concept albums ever. Any fans?

I just recently started getting into them. I somehow missed them in the 90's. I listened only to Long Hair in Three Stages (1995) and I must say, they have a very unique sound, like they take all that rock deconstruction literally to the core. And it's not just for the sake of it 'cause they create some menace and tension with it, which I like.

I must hear that Talker album. That's the one Gira produced, right?

Yeh Gira produced it and did an excellent job. It's basically U.S Maple's view on high-school and truly is brilliant.

I heard Talker once and it was amazing, loved those strange, scratchy guitars and the weird vocals. My comp crashed though not long after I got it, I'll need to get that album again to give it some more listens. Thanks for the indirect reminder.

Never knew Gira produced, or that it was a concept album though. Interesting.
