meh, death cab and postal service sound pretty different though, aside from the singer, they really don't have all that much in common.

I know what your saying and i do agree to a point.. but i'm, just sick of the whole same singer deal.. like the singer enough is what made me first listen to the postal because well i thought they were death cab haha..

just saw DCFC on sat and was only decent...

make sure to read the DNTEL thread as well as he's the other half of postal service....

I used to just dislike the Postal Service and the awful pop crap that they managed to convince half a million people was "good" Electronic music.

Then I heard their remix of Feist's "Mushaboom," and now I hate them

I'd say they convinced half a million people they made "good" Pop music with Electronic influences.

Trust me - when I think of proper electronic music postal service is no where near the list of bands (pan sonic etc, four tet, etc...).

I still very much like PS tho

Does any one else really like this band?

i love them, my fav song by then is "nothing better" and "such great heaight"

which is a cover from iron and wine of the same title, all 3 are really good songs!

Iron & Wine did the cover, not PS

Love this group - make sure to look into Figurine as very similar, but more rewarding in the long run I find.

A new band that's really good/similar is Electric President too
