Love The Smiths.

Queen Is Dead is probably my favourite, though Rush And A Push is my favourite track.

^I like you, newbie.

Strangeways is their most played album by me, but I think out of all of their recordings, The World Won't Listen is definatley the best. Jus' Saying;

Favourite song/songs: Panic, Bigmouth Strikes Again, I want the One I can't have and I know its over. Starting to get to the stage where I could proclaim an outright love for them.

This has nothing to do with quality, but this is the order I would reccomend getting them:

Hatful of Hollow
The Queen Is Dead
Strangeways, Here We Come
The World Won't Listen
The Smiths
Meat Is Murder

Just by accessibility.

Yeah I would start off with the one of the compilations before going for the studio albums. Simply because thats what I did, except my first Smiths album was the 'Best' album. The albums were easy to get into after playing that over and over again.

I can't figure out why I like The Smiths so damn much. Like why I always find myself going back to listen to more of The Smiths.

As for what the person who asked what to start with, I would start with Louder Than Bombs, then maybe you can move on to their other albums from there. However, last year there was a really good best of album called The Sounds of The Smiths. You can maybe give that a listen too.

Also, if anyone is interested, I have a couple videos, one of The Smiths live in England, and 2 video documentaries of them. They are really good in anyone is interested, just PM me or something.
