Nice one, my fave Smiths song. Love them.

It's a fantastic song, indeed. The "desperation" (lacking a better word) in "and if they don't believe me now, will they ever believe me?" is really something. Plus, you've got to love that intro.
On an unrelated note, here's an enthralling song:

Enjoy and comment my friends, keep the thread alive.

Yeah I think "This Night Has Opened My Eyes" is overlooked by many. It is one of my favorite songs by them.

What do you guys think about I Won't Share you, their last song on Strangeways, Here We Come. It just might be my favorite Smiths song. It's kind of sad too.

It's, without question, a great song. I find it rather hard to find a favourite Smiths' song. They never cease to amaze me. From happy little ditties Like Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before to incredibly haunting and "disturbing" ones like "Suffer Little Children" (love that song...), The Smiths always seem to quench my thirst.

I wish someone would meld the bodies of Morrissey and Johnny Marr together until they come out with some new great material. I can live without a Guns N Roses reunion tour, but The Smiths are entirely a different matter

miserable lie

Good band, good tunes.

There's always loads of talk about them reuniting (especially with Blur and The Stone Roses getting back together) but I don't think they should.

It's like when you go on holiday to the same place twice, it's fine but it'll never be as good the second time round.

Default The Smiths

I think the Smiths were a great
band. Morrissey had some amazing
lyrics and Marr some great guitar
riffs.
I don't think they should reunite
either.

Cool A song for all moods

One of my favourite bands. Such a range of songs that you can find something to suit almost any mood. Anybody agree?
