Being There is their best, I love that album. Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is obviously great, but I went with Being There.

I think A.M. is the best, in fact if I were to list them in the order I like them it be the same as the order they were released.

I disagree, but I'm glad to see "A.M." getting the cred it deserves. It was and is a fantastic album, and I think the fact that it still holds up against some of their later work, like YHF, is a testament to Tweedy's ability, both as a frontman and as a writer.

And I remember listening to "Being There" as a kid and drawing comparisons between it and "Exile on Main Street". It's among the best the've put out, and it's cool to listen to in context, because it helps you frame what was happening to the band and its members as their work gained more recognition.

Anyone heard their new album yet? It's been getting good write-ups from what I've seen.

Saw them perform a song from it on Letterman the other night and it was pretty badass.

I put AM as my fav. But who am I kidding? I love Yankee Hotel. Great band, great performers, seen them a number of times. Always loved it. Even on, and on, and on. SAAAAAPPY...but I digress. Tweedy is a great song writer.
