I was introduced to Mr Scruff today, pretty weird for me. The song about mushrooms, excellent.

Yeah they are crap but they are a little spazzy.

Its true emo fans think the blood brothers are great and boast how diverse they are.

Its called crappy hardcore.

Try a British band called Volcano!

They are spazzy prog, but amazing spazzy prog

Volcano! are awesome.. but not british. anyway thats the kind of stuff i was thinking of, along with The Books, Gang Gang Dance, Animal Collective, The Murder Of Rosa Luxemburg etc.

and The Blood Brothers are good... whether or not they have annoying emo fans.

the books are amazing. absolutely...

i put in beaches and canyons today by black dice, havet listened to it in forever. great album.

if you like the books, check out Prefuse 73, he did a remix of the books ep called PREFUSE 73 READS THE BOOKS. my favorite cd right now, and has been for the last couple months. he takes the spaziness of the books, and chills it right out. i love it.
