Ruth Inking - YES! Pulp was a much better band than both of them - maybe didn't scale the heights of fame both bands acheived, but as far as musical quality goes, I'd take This is Hardcore, We Love Life, His N' Hers and a Different Class over anything by both Oasis and Blur - I still listen to them quite a bit today, even thought the band is now well and truly defunct...

And it's a real shame they're aren't together anymore... miss 'em...

His n Hers was a brilliant album! Pink Glove and Have You Seen Her Lately are my favourites by far! Definitely wipe Oasis and Blur out of the window!

Jarvis hails from Sheffield, about half an hour away from me
I mean, I hate to be a twat, but how cool is that!?

11. "Soldier On" L. Gallagher

I'd say 3 out of those 4 were good tunes, the odd one out being Liams Aint Got Nothing. However that song aint half as bad as High Horse which is Noels and the worst track on the record.

Noels tunes are decent on this record, im not arguing that but 2 out of 3 of Liams are really good I think, as are Gems and Andy's.
This seems to the general idea from the fans. i mean none of the tracks are that bad they just aren't as good as Noel's. Ain't Got Nothin is a better Meaning of Soul. To Be Where There's Life is Gem's best tune yet. The Nature of Reality isn't that amazing cos I loved both Turn Up The Sun and Keep The Dream Alive and the b-side Thank You For the Good Times but its probably the most stomping oasis tune next to High Horse. Speaking of High Horse the tune shouldn't be that good but some how Noel pulls it off. Soldier On is probably the second worst closer next to "better man" that the band has ever done but in that regard Soldier On isn't that bad its a nice little dreamy ending but the original closer "I Wanna Live In A Dream In My Record Machine" was supposed to be an epic 10 min type of deal but it didn't get done cos Liam went and got married also High Horse wasn't supposed to be on the album the original first single Come On Its Alright got forgotten about or something. The second half of the record by no means is bad i enjoy every track on the album its just compared to the first half it seems a little weak in my opinion.

Pulp was so underrated Jarvis ****er is one of the most underrated guys out there and he is just plain cool.

Each to their own. I like Noels tunes too. I like all the tunes on this record bar High Horse and Aint Got Nothing.

Even then, they are a hell of a lot better than Little James and Put Yer Money Where Your Mouth Is which are, without a doubt, the two worst album tracks Oasis have ever produced.

Ugh, Little James is one of the most atrocious songs I've ever heard...

And hey there is NOTHING wrong with having a kid, anbd loving him or her with absolutely everything you've got... I have three which I love more than life itself...

But man if you are going to try to immortalize that love in song form, you could come up with something a little more poignant and timeless than "thank you for your smile, you make it all worthwhile..."

Worst. parental. love song. ever.

It is an absolute musical abortion. I was the right age to fall in love with Oasis when I was a teenager and because of that the love has carried over even though I like to feel I've matured musically to recognise their downfalls but I can't defend **** like that.

I'd say Oasis are currently making whatever the hell they want to make without too much focus on sales and popularity.
My bad... I suppose you're right. I just don't like their newer stuff that much.
