Can anyone here think of any rockish songs with a big "woohoo-moment" in? Just like in "song 2"????

Song 2 is really the only "woooooooooohooooooooo" moment in it that I can think of!

Song 2 sucks man. Blur's best album is 'Think Tank' & I like Damon Albarn's later works as opposed to Oasis' continious drivel. At least Blur knew when to call it a day.

Blur without Graham was horrible, and they never broke up.

I think Coxon played on about 4 tracks or something on 'Think Tank'. Yeah, whatever they didnt 'officially' split up but they didnt make an album for quite a while you know. Call it a 'hiatus' if you wish. As for 'Think Tank' I rank it as their best album & shows that Graham Coxon wasnt all that important & perhaps his abscense allowed Albarn to be a bit more of a free spirit.
Dont get me wrong, Coxon's alright; I have a few of his solo albums 'Sky Is Too High' & 'Happiness In Magazines'. Also his stuff can also be surprisingly heavy at times.

I ignored both bands at their heighth of popularity because I thought that they killed Britpop by stealing the sounds of (my favorite) bands like Ride and The Stone Roses and making it something worse.
But anyway, I eventually came around...I like early Oasis a lot better than almost all Blur. But I don't like Oasis after their mid-90s stuff and I really like what Albarn has done lately, especially his band/project, The Good, The Bad, and The Queen.

Default Oasis

Ok, so i just listened to (what's the story) Morning Glory for the first time ever and i was just like WTF why had I not heard of this band earlier.
The whole album was great from beginning to end, so great that i dont think i'll even want to get any more of their albums because there is no way any of them can beat what i just listened to.
Oh, and i have to thank the itunes genius toolbar for throwing me the recommendation.

I'd have to agree with you that What's The Story Morning Glory is a pretty ace and darn solid album from start to finish... for me there a few lyrical missteps, but we all know the Gallagher brothers were not Shakespeare... those quibbles aside its darn good songwriting on display.... it's such a shame their new record got so overbloated and tarnished them along with, of course the public infighting and alleged other problems...

I prefer Blur, I wish people would listen to more of them than just "Song 2"
