i think theyre both really good but oasis are just that much better and are still writing great albums (just ignore the fact that they're all idiots to each other)

Blur is infamous in my mind.
And so I'm gonn ahve to go with him. Although I hardly associate Blur with Oasis.
I can't think of Blur without thinking of Beck though for some reason. I don't know why. Maybe it's the similarity in the names. Who knows.

But think it's pretty hard for me to say because i like a lot of Oasis songs but i've been listening to Blur longer than I've bene listening to Oasis. It's kinda baised for me to go with either or.
I honestly don't konw.
Now if you said do i like Oasis more than OurLady peace I'd go with Oasis in a heartbeat.

Peace out.

I would say Blur, and while i do like Oasis, i would just say that Blur are just a far more sophisticated band.

Blur - mockney art-school half-wits made for Mondeo man. Dull c*nts.
Oasis - 5 monkeys, 5 brain-cells, 1 Beatles chordbook. Thick c*nts.

Britpop was a still-born genre IMO.

Love Radiohead and Peej's a godess... I wouldn't call them Britpop tho'... they always seemed apart from that flag-waving culture.

Oasis.

I'm too young to remember the big "battle" between Blur and Oasis, I've only really started to listen to Oasis in the last few years and I think they have stood the test of time a lot better than Blur have done.

Noel is a champ and Liam is err....different but I like them. Brits take everything too seriously.

Live forever is a good documentary to watch if you are into the whole brit pop thing.

i agree (whoop, we agree on two things), you have the quintessential brit pop of blur, suede, oasis, pulp, dodgy, the bluetones etc but then we have the likes of radiohead and PJ who are on a slightly more levitated playing field due to their obvious superiority in terms of musical talent. yet i still love the brit-pop genre. the stone roses started it all off for me.
