Alex plays with Goriilaz live and in studio and so does one of the others. Wrong you are. Plus Damon wrote the songs with Blur not the others Minstrel. Noel wrote Oasis and without Noel there would be no Oasis even the name was his idea. Whereas my singing minstrel the Beatles had 3 songwriters. I look forward to your reply Minstrel once you have recapped and considered who drives a band. |

So the idea that Albarn, alone, makes the Gorillaz essentially identical to Blur is absurd. Albarn wasn't the sole driver of Blur and he's definitely not the sole driver of Gorillaz. The Gorillaz sound nothing like Blur because the song-writing dynamics are different with all the completely different members. Quote:
