I found no threads on Feist, which is shocking because she is easily one of my favorite musicians ever.
She has such a beautiful voice, and I am in love with almost every song on Let it Die.
She is also a part of Broken Social Scene, but I prefer her solo.
I guess you could call her a folk/rock artist, anyway, she is great.

I've been getting into her lately. Let it Die is a damn good album.

I'm not a big fan - too kitschy for me.

She's AWESOME. That whole CD ranges from cutesy to hypnotic. I want to see her in concert SO BAD! She's on the bill at Bumbershoot in Seattle this year. Too bad that's completely across the country for me!

Leslie Feist has a fantastic voice.

I decided i'm finally going to listen to Let It Die, my friend gave me her copy i'm going to put that shit on.

She's so very talented. Let it Die has to be her best but the Reminder is still freakin' fantastic.

I hadnt heard of her really until a day or two ago but I'm glad someone posted this thread - she is good

I heard "My Moon, My Man" on the radio and thought it was Regina Spektor. But when I actually tracked it down turns out it wasnt! She's really good though. I downloaded all of "The Reminder".

really reaaaaally like her at the moment.

I like 'One Two Three Four' and I have her album, but I haven't really listened to it as much as I should.

Personally i think Let It Die was better than the Reminder.

I never really could get myself to like the new album too much

Outside of a few songs ("My Moon My Man", "Sea Lion Woman", and "1234"), I've gotta say I'm not a big fan. There's nothing particularly unique or enthralling about it. The kind of stuff any of these "woman with a piano" acts could churn out, it just doesn't keep my attention like a Regina Spektor (Soviet Kitsch is the better of her albums, FYI; if you just know Begin to Hope, check it out) or a Kate Nash.

I like Feist a lot. Secret Heart is my favorite off Let It Die. Such a lovely song. I've been told I look like her...

Feist is great, the new album is really good aside from Sea Lion and Brandy Alexander IMO. she's not doing anything groundbreaking or trying to be too weird like an Imogen Heap or Spektor, she's just using what she's got and it works beautifully. speaking of beautiful, she freakin is. great live act too, especially when she's with Broken Social Scene. Let It Die>The Reminder (by a nose). Check out the Let It Die remixes too, fantastic.

The video for 1234 is really cool, I think.

Ohhh I love Feist. She's coming to play here in December, no tickets left though :(
I really do love both Let It Die and The Reminder, I can't really choose a favourite. Both have a slightly different sound, but at the same time remain "Feisty".

After a day of stressful modding this has just warmed my heart.
Although you could just say i've gone insane.

I love Feist... her voice is so beautiful and relaxing. I bought her last album, "The Reminder," and I lurve it <3

Water and Sea Lion were pretty good. But I just love the melody to all of her songs. It's music you can listen to even if you have a raging headache :)

She truly does have an awful voice; the warble of it gives me physical pain. Her music isn't impressive at all.
