Default Psychobilly

have no idea where to place such a thread. So here will do. Anyone share my interest in such bands as the cramps, the meteors, batmobile, the quakes, demented are go and koffin kats? Incidently, Psychobilly is typically characterised by driving double-bass lines, tongue in cheek lyrics usually dealing in horror themes and jangling guitars.

A friend of mine raves about them, he was in the Queen's air force and after a gig King Kurt put him up. I've heard the songs and I like them however it has been done better

The gig I saw was years ago. I remember going to the toilet just before it started and people were pissing in plastic pint pots to throw on the band.
I remember thinking, jesus this place is gonna kick off big time once the piss starts flying. It didn't...it seemed it was all part of a usual King Kurt gig.

They (and get this MJ) even had barrels of beer on stage and invited fans up, then pumped the ale via a hose into them, until they spewed up.

You'd have loved it.
