Love Bright Eyes.
I thought Conor's self titled was better than Cassadaga though

You are completely right. It's so cool to hate Cassadaga but it really was **** compared to the rest of his material.

We really should have bet on how poorly Outer South would be rated by Pitchfork guys.

Anyway I think it's a great album - it's not as good as self-titled but Roosevelt Room is the best song he's written in forever.

Artists should just name their albums based on the ratings.
"Pitchfork gave this a 8.3."

Can't say I was too hot about it the first time I listened to it, but I'm sure it'll grow on me like all his material does.

I really can't get into Outer South. It just sorta bored me. I'll be weird and say I adore Cassadaga, and dislike his solo work.

I like "Cassadaga" too, don't feel bad... I haven't even given "Outer South" a chance because of the things being said about it.

I had one of the most amazing experiences of my life listening to Bright Eyes.

I got really...chemically altered....and listened to Coat Check Dream Song. I was laying on my bed just going with it, and it took me on a journey I swear.

Anyway. A lot of their stuff is pretty good. I think the first song I liked by them was Landlocked Blues. Ahh college.
