Sentences like these are why I want to hate Bright Eyes.

That's unfair transitive hatred

If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.

The average Bright Eyes fan is a complete tool, those feelings are understandable I 'spose.

Bright Eyes is great for when you want to cry at night.

Really? I find it odd but, whenever I listen to "Fevers and Mirrors" I feel like drawing. When ever I want to wallow in my sadness I pop in "Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space" by Spiritualized.

I absolutely love I'm Wide Awake because they finally strip back all the mediocre electronica stuff. Don't like Letting off or Lifted at all. The backing is awful. But I seem to be alone here..

I'd say so.

I don't see what you're getting at because Digital Ash is really the only album where he really layed on the electronic instruments thick, and I would hardly call Mike Mogis' work on that album medicore.. not to mention it was released the same time I'm Wide Awake was.

and the backing on Lifted is some of the best I've heard from the Bright Eyes label.
