Brand new album out!

I've only heard a few songs from it so far but damn they have nailed it again.

What a talented bunch:

Brand new as in August 2010?

I've played it once or twice and found it quite mediocre. The only other album I've heard is Broom, which is good but still not all that great or unique either. A pretty average indie pop band.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

lol yeah, I'm behind on the times in the indie scene.

I was too quick to judge that they "nailed it". I heard 3 tracks that I really like, Let it Sway, Stuart Gets Lost Dans Le Metro, Critical Drain and automatically assumed that the whole cd was gonna rock.

I would disagree with you though about being an "average" indie-pop band. When performing live they have three band members that switch position between the drums, bass and electric guitar. Their song writing ability is amazing on their first two cds, and their lyrics are pretty solid on Let it Sway. Pershing doesn't have a song that I don't like on it. Brilliance from beginning to end.

I hope they will continue making music and improve on the next thing they release.

I rate the newest release 6.75/10

They're from Springfield, MO (where I live) and they were at CD Warehouse on Record Store Day playing an acoustic set. REALLY good band.

I gotta catch them live sometime, they're apparently touring with Tokyo Police Club nowadays.
