Eux Autres (The Others) (favorite songs, French, myspace, band, songs)

After listening to ...Nous Non Plus on NPR over a year ago I checked out 'french pop' on several free download sites and came across Eux Autres. They're english speaking so don't let the french name throw you.

The main allure at the time was I wanted to hear something both happy and smart and I figured it'd have to be in another language. The fact they took their name from the famous line of Sartres' No Exit sold me pretty straight off.

Anyway, I really like this band. Some people I know complain of the male vocals, but to me they sound honest in a refreshing way. The female vocal are just warm warm butter sauce.
