I happen to pick up Vietnem/Heaven for a dollar in some little cd shop in NY. The cartoon voices caught me off guard the first time I listened to it, but after the second or third listen I came to love it. Have you listened to any of their other stuff, because I heard they weren't as good?

Ive only heard Vietnam/Heaven myself. I came to hear about them because of the Bongwater connection, what with Kramer being in both bands. I cant even describe their music. Quite a lot of the stuff on Vietnam/Heaven is really sparse, fragmented acoustic music.

Yea, I know 2 people who I believe listen to decent music, and I lent one of those guys that cd this summer and was trying to explain it to him, and all I could say was it is saturated in acid, but in the good amazing way. He ended up really liking it too, but agreed it's impossible to describe. I really think they're one of the most unappreciated bands of their time.
