Slanted and Enchanted is my favorite by Pavement. I think I enjoy it because its got that really lo-fi sound and they dropped that a bit on the next album, Crooked Rain, and it had a bit different sound which in my opinion didn't work for them (well didn't work well in my ears! haha.) then on Wowee Zowee when they went on to that more experimental deal, which I liked.

Well, I would usually agree, but the thing with Pavement is they never released a bad album, in fact they are all fucking great. It could have been another gem, but alas we shall never know

LOL. Even the deluxe can be had on Amazon for $5.44 used.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Slanted and Crooked Rain are indie-rock staples to be sure. I'm partial to the latter as it's become one of my summer favorites with Cut Your Hair, Gold Soundz, etc.

They are playing September 5th here, in a theater! Same one I saw Sunny Day Real Estate's reunion show last year.

They are playing the Sasquatch Festival this weekend too but I'm not going. Had I remembered this was Memorial weekend, I would have considered going...even though I'm really not down with festivals for multiple reasons.

Blah, when is the doublestuffed Terror Twilight release dropping? I could have sworn it had a set release date the last time I checked, but now it seems like it's hanging in limbo. What gives?
