well.. you seem to criticize me on my musical tastes and i guarantee that you have not ever heard even one band that i listen to.

ohh yeah and news flash... if you turn on the radio, 35 percent of the stations are classic rock... about 75 are rap (i dont consider any style of rap "old school" seeing as how the whole genre isnt very old compared to other styles of real music). i think there is normally 1 jazz station that i get if i am standing in the right position, and if i am about 45 miles away on weeknights from 7-8 i can catch some indie and hardcore music ran through a college radio station.

so trust me, just because you have the best of Van Halen, that doesnt make you some authority on music.

Listen kid...I never said I knew everything about and every type of music. Its my opinion. Obviously you do not know the meaning of the word so....go back to school. I dont care how many stations of classic rock or rap there is. The point is I dont listen to it and I highly doubt anything I listen to is on there.
So Zealious: If its not indie its mainstream? Is that how it is these days? Interesting. You children amaze me. You have no idea what 'good' music really is.

music that promotes drug and alcohol abuse
music with no (real) insturments
rap (which pretty much pertains to all of the above with only a few exceptions)

before you go tell people what good music is... tell me, have you even heard one of the bands i have mentioned? and dont tell me its because this is all "new school" and your all "old school" or whatever line of bull **** that is.. bands like Antioch Arrow and youth of today were playing amazing music when even you (yes even you) were still in your diapers.

so if you categorize children by their ignorance of music... i must ask, wouldnt that make you the newborn?

I am calling you, David Frost, a child because 1: you probably are and 2: the way you talk(type) If I remember correctly all I asked was "WTF if indie?" And then you, the child, had to come at me with some childish remark about being out of the loop and automatically judging me for asking. I am entitled to my own opinion. And to tell you the truth I couldnt care less what you think is good music. You just have a stuck up attitude, like your sh** doesnt stink. and as far as maturity level goes.. if thats why you are calling us kids, i would have to say that would be unfounded. you say no one listens to good music, yet you havent even explored any of the genres of the people you are arguing with. how can you say the music you enjoy is better than the music i enjoy when you havent even heard one band?
