Default New Band of Horses

Anybody seen Band of Horses lately? I hear they are playing new stuff - how does it sound?

i love the song 'i can sleep' its amazing...14 words the whole song but still awesome
"Is There A Ghost," for anybody interested.

"The Funeral" is an overrated track. The entirety of Everything All The Time is fantastic, specially Our Swords, which I argue is the best song on that album.

Their latest album, Cease to Begin is just meh.

It may be overrated, but damn, it's solid.

I'm sure some of you know that Band of Horses' new album Infinite Arms comes out May 18.

What I came here to post is this new video for the song 'Compliments' that I just discovered. I'm only about to listen to it for the first time now myself.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I love that new song! It's not a big departure but it sounds like they've evolved a bit, it's a nice punchy upbeat song. I'm really looking forward to this album now, and it's good to see they're continuing their tradition of beautiful album covers

The songs Is There a Ghost and Noone's Gonna Love You (not sure if they are their correct names as I don't own any albums) get a lot of radio play here and I really like them. Will have to check out some of their stuff.

I've only played the new song once, but I found it pretty different from their other stuff. Not a huge departure, but different. And I don't mean that in a bad way. So far it hasn't left much of an impression on me but I'm sure it'll sink in with more listens.

I really like the new song as well, I thought it was in the same vein as their last album though

I've always imagined they named it that because Detlef Schrempf never really found a home in the NBA; he was always moving from one team to the next. I think he had a pretty short career also. I'm not sure if that's right. And by the way, I love that song.
