they're alright. two things are for sure: they're nothing new and they will make more money than me...
i'm not too into the current chirpy, indie-pop re-hash thing that's going on. it's like they think they're the first 'indie' band to pay attention to poppy chord progressions. Oh and it's not indie if it wasn't made on a 4-track in 1990, sorry, lol

but yeah they aren't shoving it down our throats are they?
If you really like this get yourself the CD86 compilation, takes you back to the roots. I would post the link but the bleeping forum won't let me still

Not new? Mention another band who has the same sound as this one.

Just because it's part of this "indie-pop rehash thing that's going on" does not make it derivative. They've done their own thing within that framework which distinguishes them and makes them worth talking about.

I love it when people do that. So why not make a thread about them and enlighten the rest of us...six months ago?

Rainard Jalen 02-03-2008 05:10 PM

anyway...this band f'cuking own

Urban Hat€monger ? 02-04-2008 01:15 AM

Annoying chirpy indie rock with some horrible whiney vocalist who sounds like he sound be in some late 90s punk pop band.

Thats my take on it anyway.

Hater....

I'd call it indifference, they're far too bland to bother hating.
