I was wondering if anyone has heard of this band. I did a search and didn't find any threads or posts about them. Heard two of their songs today and I am really liking "Mansard Roof." Here is a link below (can not post urls yet since my post count is so low).

What do you guys think about this band?

Yeah great band. cape cod kwassa kwassa and a-punk are also very good songs by them. Album is out on monday in the UK not sure about America though.

all I know is they are getting a lot of hype and good reviews, I'll have to check it out

I actually saw them on MTV Saturday night and decided to check out there stuff, not bad

Well, they're album's out tomorrow, so some intense listening will soon be a-takin' place.

I've got it and I can't stop listening to it. Wonderful pop music, very easy listening. There isn't a song on there that I wanted to skip. Finally, Pitchfork got something right. Link to the review.

Ya, I've been listening to this myself. And ya, it is excellent. So much fun. I prefer it to everything else I've tried in January so far save Times New Viking and possibly that Drive-By Truckers album.

Slight off topic, I absolutely hated the vocals on that one.:\

LOL, yeah they're feckin' ghastly. But there was something altogether about it, something quite uncanny, that made it so listenable at the same time!

Just got the album...great the whole way through....love "A-Punk" "Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa" and "Oxford Comma"
