well really their transition period was so much more interesting than anything else they've done. '90 through about '93 were formative (and gorgeous) years for the Lips.

don't care too much for their first three or last one though.

I really like Christmas on Mars. Its a decent album but the movie blows my mind.

I'm surprised only like 2 people mentioned 'Clouds Taste Metallic'. I would pick that over TSB or YBTPR easily.

I have to agree with the post above, "Yoshimi battles the Pink Robots" is their masterpiece in my humble opinion! I love every song on that album beginning to end!
