I'm currently rediscovering the Godlike Nick Cave and Bon Iver is on the backburner at the mo' tbh.

First listens tells me he's an obviously talented man...but is he special!?
I'll get back on this.

Oh shi...that's 90% of music these days. Better be melancholy than emo. =/

I really liked For Emma, very poignant.

Skinny Love is pretty much real sweet.

So is he saying 'Sinatra blue' or 'So natural blue' in The Wolves. It sounds like 'So natural' to me, and when I first heard it I though it was a really clever line (When your eyes are all painted so natural blue). But all the lyric websites say 'Sinatra'. Thoughts?

how good is this album, eh? it really is as beautiful as jackie lee described. i thought i wouldn't "fall" for it, so to speak, but the melodies and harmonies are really quite irresistible. this one has the rainard seal of approval. full marks.
