I've known about them for awhile, but I've just now given their album (Self-titled) a full listen, and I'm in love. Best debut of the last 5 years, and up there for album of 2008. What do you think?

I didn't find it instantly to my liking, but I rerekly do with new albums. Haven't listened to it much since, ill have to give it another go!

Hmm. I didn't really think this was all that good. I give Fleet Foxes credit for catching my interest for a whole album though, I usually hate country or anything that sound like it (I can't even stand Wilco for that reason) but this wasn't bad. However, it does not deserve anywhere close to all of the recognition that it got. Nowhere close to best album of 2008. It did get better with time though, took me a couple listens to start to find it good.

Figure it's worth a bump here. They have a new album coming out this June called Crack-Up.

However, the new album leaked yesterday. Robin Pecknold seems cool with it.

I haven't listened to it yet, but I liked their debut and Helplessness Blues quite a bit. I'll be checking this out sooner rather than later.
