Notwist 12 track sampler. I have taken two tracks off each album and tried to show the musical progression through the chronological order.

Tracklisting:

1. Is It Fear?
2. Winter
3. Unsaid, Undone
4. The Incredible Change Of Our Alien
5. Torture Day
6. The String
7. Day 7
8. Another Planet
9. Trashing Days
10. This Room
11. Where In This World
12. Alphabeat.

I've only heard Neon Golden. It was quite cool. I'm a sucker for guitar pop.

Well this was interesting. It was cool to hear how they developed as time went by, proper grungey band at the start then dabbling in electro and world music by the end.
The early stuff is pretty immediate and i like it already, it'll be a few more listens before the later stuff settles in, though This Room in particular is great.

You know what... I don't think I've ever once mentioned this band in any thread on this site. Quite bizarre, considering I think Neon Golden alone marks them out as a great band.

Yeah, that's a great album. "Pilot" alone is easily in my top 10 songs of the 00s.
