it's a bit sad, indeed.
But at least there are highlights!
From their last album I love "pendolous threads" "anna molly" "rogues" "a kiss to send us off" "dig" and "earth to bella" (both parts)

maybe someday they will remember their roots and bring the funk again!
I mean, back in the days they really had nothing to lose, now they have established themselves even with the mainstream audience. Doesn't that mean that they are comfortably off by now? that should give them the freedom back to think more outside the box again (and in between still record every other album with their newer trademark sound if they want)

Anyways, I'm rooting for them, never been heavily disappointed by them

There are definetly the better songs off of the new albums (beware! criminal and pistola for example although i think i'm one of the few that really likes those songs) the new albums just dont hold up against their old stuff and it really come down to the progression and changes of the band and their songwriting. Its not bad...just not as good.

I'm half and half with them. I enjoy some, dislike some, and hate a lot.

So I guess that isn't necessarily half and half.

I just think the guitar work on that album is incredible, and even better live.

Love em. Of all of todays mainstream rock bands, they're certainly one of the best ones.

1. Morning View
2. SCIENCE
3. Make Yourself
4. Crow Left of the Murder
5. Fungus Amongus
6. Light Grenades
