Sublime stuff from this man, he's basically the simon and garfunkel for the modern day.

my favorites = Shepherds Dog, Our Endless Numbered Days

dammit, just realized there was already a thread for him.

You're certainly not the only one. I think he's great. No, i'm not in love with the news album. But, the Women King Ep is an all time classic in my book.

Unfortunately, I still haven't had the chance to listen to any pre-Shepherd's Dog music.
But I'm in LOVE with this album.
"White Tooth man", "Boy With A Coin", "Carousel", and "Wolves (Song of the Shepherd's Dog" are my favorites off of this album.

I think The Creek Drank the Cradle is beautiful but then they really fell apart after that. [I]Woman King[I] was okay for an EP but that second album... Christ, what a piece of **** that was.

Default Iron and Wine

Anyone on here a fan of Iron and Wine? I just recently bought "The Shepard's Dog." The following day I went out and bought "Our Endless Numbered Days." Really amazing in my opinion. I'm sure he's been around for a while but I'm just now getting turned on to it.

Iron and Wine is a fantastic band! Their cover of "such great heights", is in my opinion, greater than the original by Postal Service. Also the song which appeared in Twilight is fabulous. I believe it is called Flightless Bird, American Mouth??? Something like that and I'm too lazy to google
