It's kind of sad when living dangerously is simply voicing your own opinion.

people just like these guys cause theys album was rated good, but they nothing special at all.

Ummm it seems that the elitist indie masses are revolting already! I've seen hundreds and hundreds of bands live, and I have hundreds of albums...

The Arcade Fire would probably be in the top 10 live acts that I've managed to see in my time.

Well the problem is only voicing your opinion. Whats sad is the lack of facts/reasons people use to back up their own arguments. Have you ever sat for 10 seconds and thought "I really like this peice of the music right here, or this vocal harmony, or maybe that malisma is really cool"

No, it's always "I love them their great" and the worst part is it's usually about bands that have few to no redeeming qualities (coughMUSEcough)

And then I get to watch the same damn cyclical arguments about opinions roll on, and on. I don't know how much I have to bitch about this, but im gunna keep doing it. Im almost certain you used "opinion" in a diffrent argument already in this post. Don't hide behind freewill.

You are the elitist inide masses, you belong to the world of conformity that rallies against conformity.

Haha, please don't reduce Indie kids to a counter-culture.

I can understand if people don't like The Arcade Fire, but dislike them because they're monotonous? Blasphemy. I've heard Win Butler go from crooning softly to singing his heart out in one song. They use dynamics a lot, maybe you just weren't paying close enough attention. Some songs change suit drastically. When they were writing "Crown of Love," maybe they were thinking, "Wouldn't it be interesting to go from a ballad to...Guess what? A DISCO." Amazingly enough, it works out for them.

But anyway, the best thing about The Arcade Fire are their live shows. They have so much energy. The drummers use almost every part of the stage as a drumset, including the scaffold twenty feet high and...Each other. With crash helmets. Regine Chassagne sure can rock out to the accordian, too.

I saw those "leaks." One of them is just a bunch of the already leaked songs in different bitrates and formats cobbled together into album order, and the other is those same songs in 160kbps. Not worth uploading.

New songs are good, though. I was never the biggest Arcade Fire fan, but I heard "Black Mirror," and that got me really into them. I even really like Funeral a lot now, which I kind of underrated in the past.
