I've had funeral for a while and I just got Neon Bible recently. I haven't listened to it too much, but I really enjoy No Cars Go and the Well and the Lighthouse. They're a great and unique band. I'm glad to see that they'll stick around for quite a while.

just picked it up to day and im very impressed with the album. its not a clone of the first, it differs which is good. its clear i need to play this with better speakers then im using at this moment to fully appreciate the atmosphere that the songs give off. Funeral is better then Neon Bible, but that is to be expected since second albums dont have high reputations to be outstanding. But over all i was very pleased

they found it generic because funeral (esp the neighborhoods) were earthshaking. and although neon bible offered some good tracks, it doesnt make me want to jump out of my seat and scream "ALEXANDER"
