Nice mix, jackhammer. I was surprised that someone else here actually liked Archive. One of the best bands, in my opinion and unfortunately very underrated.

If we're doing lists:
Miles Davis - Bitches Brew
Sigurd Ros - Takk
Loscil - Submerse
Chopin - Nocturnes
Isis - Panopticon

Guess I should've included mine.

Butterfly Culture - Benjamin Francis Leftwich
I Go To Sleep - Sia
Fairytale - Enya
You - The Pretty Reckless
The Water - Feist
Medicine - Daughter
Landed - Ben Folds
Tonight - Lykke Li
Where I Stood - Missy Higgins
My Skin - Natalie Merchant
Don't Know Why - Norah Jones

The end.

Asap Rocky's mixtape and album. Which is not a knock to them at all.

I am a massive fan and get stupidly wound up because they are an English band and have had virtually no success in my homeland but then everyone in England thinks that we only have Radiohead and Muse to represent our alternative scene unfortunately.

I have been listening a lot to Nightmares On Wax recently after a very long hiatus away from them and I forgot how damn good they are are (well it is one member really).

That does sound pretty unfortunate. Muse and Radiohead are alright but Archive is much better instrumentally and vocally. Even lyrically. Although Radiohead is one of my favorites.

I dig this song by NOW. What genre is it? It has a jazz-vibe for me but I don't think it's that.

I like Radiohead too but can't stand Muse.

NOW do have a big Jazz vibe going on. I just call them chillout personally but the music does lean towards live instrumentation with Jazz overtones.

Nice to have an Archive fan on here

As you like Archive I heartily recommend The Frames:

Now back to sleeping music:

I know I shouldn't have replied because it's taking up the topic but thank you for recommending "The Frames". I hadn't heard of them before and I enjoyed that so much. It does have a similar musical style as Archive does so I've favorited it. Thanks, jackhammer.

Aaand sleeping music.
