I really like what these guys do. They have this sound that fuses tropical, noise, punk and lo-fi influences together, incorporating experimental song structures and instrumentation. Their newest album, Skeleton, is great in my opinion, strangely uplifting.

Any fans?

I've never heard of them, and the Youtube links you posted won't load for me for some reason. But I like your description of their sound so I'm going to check them out.

Good recommendation. I love the tribal sound in some of the songs.

It reminds me of Vieux Farka Toure (who's music I have to download again now that I remember the name). You should check him out if you haven't heard him before. He's incredible on the guitar just like his dad was.
