Yeah man it grows on you, there's so many subtleties to the music that require multiple listens to really appreciate. I'd put it in my top 5 of the year defiunately.

listening to Why There Are Mountains for the second time and it just keeps getting better. they definitely have a lot more going for them than the garbage they draw comparisons to (Japandroids, No Age, Girls).

i just hope they have a decent live act. inevitably all these young indie bands churn out the same generic crap onstage, i can't emphasize enough how disappointed i was with Animal Collective, Deerhunter, No Age, etc.
