they are in my top 2. which are your favorite albums?

and to be honest, I have little confidence they will put out another album that I love. they have been mediocre since after the moon & antarctica.

This. Yet, despite feeling this way, I still held hope before We Were Dead Came out. That bombed (IMO), and somehow I'll still check out whatever they put out next. That last EP wasn't bad, with songs from the last two albums' recording sessions. Not anything to match their best albums, but still gives me a little hope I guess. There's potential.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I love Good News For People Who Love Bad News, so I have confidence.

I can't choose between Lonesome Crowded West and The Moon & Antarctica.
One's the more pissed off rocking record, the other's the more quietly reflective album.

Lonesome Crowded West = The Moon & Antarctica > Good News > This Is A Long Drive >>>>>>>>> We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank.

I have faith they can produce something really good, but maybe that's just hope.

I was just doing their studio LPS, so I would have left it out even if I had heard it.
But nope, not bothered with compilations.
Judging by the tone, maybe I should.
I guess they'll release a new studio album some time in 2011, If it can be nearly as good as Good News, I'll be happy.
