Are they really worth seeing live? I have the chance in Liverpool you see after coming back from Sonic Youth in London.

I think modest mouse are possibly one of the best bands i've ever seen live. I just love the energy of their shows. I saw them recently with Jonny Marr (ex smiths) and they were fantastic. The new album is just as good as the others, and i think Marr as a new member of the band deffinately makes them even more outstanding.

Their new one is kind of bad, but I enjoy most of their other stuff.

They're good live, but not when you have a crap-ass audience who can't be bothered. It's such a shame when the band puts their all into it and the audience fail to reciprocate.
