Default the pAper chAse

The best way I could describe this band is as an indie noise rock band.
Except, not completely noisy...if that makes sense.

They have 3 stages of their music.
In their early years, they had really noisy music as compared to later on.
Around their 3rd and 4th album, they moved to more organized music. But still somewhat chaotic.
Their newest album was a huge turn from their music, but still bears that signature pAper chAse sound.

Their lyrics are cynical and disturbing as anything I've ever heard. I absolutely love them.
If you haven't heard them, you should check them out. Really a great band. AMAZING live band.

And forgive me if there's already a thread for them. I searched, but I could not find anything.

Anybody else on here know/like them?

I used to have God Bless Your Black Heart on CD. I tried to like it, but it never worked for me.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I've only listened to their latest three albums, but I really like them! I think Now You Are One Of Us is a great album! I hope to one day hear their earlier stuff. ^.^

(And yes, kind of responded three years too late.)

Their earlier stuff is really hectic. You can really feel the anguish that he seems to have had through the early music. Really great stuff.

I really, really like Hide the Kitchen Knives.

The only other one I know is Now You Are One of Us, which is pretty good.
