I would have liked to have made a larger post, but I don't really have the time to think right now.

What I will say is that this band are absolutely fantastic. Their recently-released album, Post-Nothing, is absolutely fantastic. It's basically No Age but in the vein of garage punk rock - ultra catchy hooks, thumping, layered guitar-work, pounding, pulsating drum-work... you're basically hooked from the onset. Brilliant. Best of the new batch of Lo-Fi rockers to come out of American indie.

Check it out, well worth your while. Brilliant. 9.5/10.

I've heard nothing but excellent things about them! There were on the cover of either this month's or last month's Exclaim!, correct me if I'm wrong though. A lot of people say that if you enjoy DFA 1979 then you'll like em, I loved DFA - this week I'm gonna get their album.

Is this a new album? I havent heard anything by them since No Singles, which I thought couldn't compare to Post Nothing. I did a search for them on itunes to see if anything new had been released, a live album came up in the search field when I was typing, but when I clicked on it there was nothing available. I'd die for something new from these guys. Post Nothing has stayed in pretty consistent rotation with me for the past 2 years.

It's a single from the new album, Celebration Rock, which I believe is coming out in June.

I tried getting into these guys briefly but was disappointed. I must admit that I have not given them much of a chance, however, I remember specifically not digging the vocal melodies.

Aye, and I really wanted to get into these guys. Not too many up and coming noise bands making any sort of impact these days.
