Really? What were those like? To be honest all I remember of the band is like one radio hit and some of my friends had the tape. In my memory, Ned's and others like them seemed to fill the short gap of time between the British Pop scene and the up and coming rave scene. It's like 90s British Pop became dance music like 70s American Pop became disco..or something.

Anyway, I remember Ned's Atomic Dustbin as being highly forgettable - were they big in the UK?

They were big in the weekly indie papers & student bars.

That's about it really.

That should explain my hatred for their fans too

Haha, well, I was like 2 in 1991 when their debut came out, so I know nothing about their fanbase or popularity other than what I've read on wikipedia. I just know that I think God Fodder is a pretty cool album
