Default Big Blood

They've released a new album, Dark Country Magic, for free on the Free Music Archive (link below.) Basically imagine if Woods was fronted by Joanna Newsom. It's better than the other two albums they came out with this year. There's a song on there, Coming Home Part III, that is just amaze.

One of the few bands who can release 92,439 things in a year and still have all of them carry some sort of merit. "Adversaries & Enemies" is an absolute jam among other fantastic things that they've done, and Dark Country Magic is definitely in my Top 10 this year.

This band deserves so much more recognition, though because of the way they release music for free and because of how frequently they do it, you'd think that's not on their agenda. Love them either way.

Why does their music sound a bit poorly-recorded/fuzzy? Is it intentional or is it something else...?

Great band, though...
