Muse certainly have a pomposity to them, Rick Wakeman said he was a big fan of them, that should tell you something.

Apparantly the new album is supposed to be more classical than rock, and there's a big epic as the last track. Your wish may come true!

i really fear for this new album. I hated BH&R, and by the sounds of things The Resistance is going to take it all to new levels.

It's "all very orchestral" apparently

It's gonna be absolutely great or a fucking train wreck.

Looking forward to finding out.

Did not like any of the tracks? City of Delusion was a gem.

I like pretty much the whole album. Every Muse album offers something different. They're so varied. I hate it when people say BH&R sucked because it was too over the top. Well, that was the point of it! They wanted it to be totally outrageous. You aren't suppossed to take the Knights of Cydonia music video seriously, for example.

I dunno... now thinking about orchestral muse sounds kinda curious... not at all a big fan of the band but this does have a curious aura about it, for sure...

I'm jealous that so many of you here have seen them live. I've heard they are not just good live, but one of the best performers at this point in time for live shows. They've come to my country 2-3 times but always go up north when I don't actually have any money to go (being a poor student) so next time they do, feck it I'll make the effort. Even if I have to pimp my mates out.
