Oh trust me I am not their biggest fan.... but my main point is that lyrically they may not be the strongest out there, but they are by far, not the worst....

But I agree with Conan, for such potential, they really could have shaped up as something better...

That's why I still say they should go with the all prog, no filler approach! hehehehehe

This should really be moved into the rock and metal forum.They've gone from being along the lines of Radiohead/Smashing Pumpkins(stadium-sized 90's alternative) to something much more along the lines of a Mars Volta.

Muse going full on prog? ew no.
I think they were much better in their stadium pop/rock suit with BL&R.
They kept it with Resistance, they just happened to **** up big time.

I dunno, I'm not a hardcore fan of Muse, but I'd give them a listen if they went full on prog.... and I'd either laugh at it or enjoy it... at least it would be something completely different which is always a welcome change!

I'm hoping that they just took a misstep and didn't lose their charm completely. ;_;

I liked "Uprising" - but I think the other stuff pales in comparison, so I'm not sure about them yet

I have to say I am in a very similar position to Lateralus as far as my opinions on this band goes...

you're stupid and so is everyone who says that about Muse. there are plenty of bands you can say that about, and that's not a negative thing, but Muse's songs do not all sound the same.
