My last.fm station played this remix of Franz Ferdinand's 'The Fallen' and I have been listening to it nonstop today:

I absolutely love the Tonight: Franz Ferdinand album. The title track, Ulysses opens the album pretty damn well, then the rest of the album goes along very smoothly. The self titled Franz Ferdinand still remains to be my favorite, but this one definitely packs a punch.

May I ask why? I can understand why some people find them boring and mainstream, but to hate them as much as Tokio Hotel..?! That's a bit extreme, isn't it? I'm just curious.

Take Me Out, Michael, and The Fallen are amazing. I used to absolutely love Ulysses, but I listened to it too much and got over it.

I think their debut was their best, and they got less interesting from that point. Franz Ferdinand: Live was fairly mediocre in my opinion. I guess it was kinda sterile and too pop-y.
